Is It The Green Wire or the Red?

Still no sign of Rocket. Everyday that I get closer to my due date (5 days, now), I feel like a ticking time bomb. I wish he would pop out, already. I want to hear his little squeaks and squirms from the car seat that is now in the back seat of our car. I want to see Jeremy holding his little boy. I want to fall asleep with him on my chest while watching TV. I want him!

Hurry up, my little man. Mama has a whole world to show you!

  1. Only 5% of babies are born on their due date. Or at least that’s what my midwife told me…

  2. Miss Grace: I know. But my doctor doesn’t think I will even make it to my due date. I guess that is why I am so on edge right now…because it COULD BE any moment.

  3. I guarantee that it wont happen at any moment. If you are lucky it will only be a few hours. I promise even though you call him Rocket that will not be his entry into this world.

  4. I feel it is my duty as a man to suggest that you have sex with Jeremy to induce labor. Although this ploy didn’t work with my wife, hopefully you guys will have better luck!

Can’t wait for the big news, good luck!

  5. Oh man, I’m laughing my ass off at zengoddess. She’s so right. Even my meteoric births were both over an hour – far over a moment. Hehehe

  6. Each time I see a new post from you in my Reader, I think, “Did she have Rocket yet? Did she?!?”

    I’m excited for you!

  7. We can’t wait! Enjoy the whole experience! And remember the details. lil moonspun loves to hear about her birth!

  8. The doctor thought my son was going to come so early that I was put on bed rest at seven months, having huge contractions. Yeah, he came a week after my due date and only because I went to the hospital, refused to leave and demanded to be induced.

Hope that doesn’t happen to you!
